Angry MBOX 3 Problems

Hi everyone,

yesterday i got my new Mbox 3. Works fine so far. But the DSP Control Panel won't. It's just a bunch of pixels and graphical errors as you can see here:
ScreenShot

When i mouse-over the panel some buttons appear and some disappear.
I tried the boxed and the newest Drivers from the avid homepage
/// Mac Book Pro, 2,4 GHz, 4GB, OSX 10.6.6, Pro Tools 9

PLEASE HELP 1

I have another question about the mbox 3 hardware:
when i conntect it via USB to my MacBook Pro not only the blue Power LED is lit but also DIM, Mono, Multi and +48 LEDs. When i press one of these buttons they just become more bright.

PLEASE HELP 2

This is normal behavior and is configurable (no light when button not pressed).

Thanx a lot.
I couldn't have known that 'cause i can't use the Control-Panel. Do you know anything about that?
I tried it on my iMac (also OSX 10.6.6) an it works fine. I even tried to switch graphic cards (onBoard to nVidia) --> same Problem. It sucks!!!

Check this out:

http://codykrieger.com/gfxCardStatus/

There were some graphic anomalies on my 17" MacBook Pro, but after I started using this (with a fixed setting for the NVIDIA card) they all went away.
The anomalies shouldn't of course be there in the first place, but... maybe fixed in 10.6.7?

Too bad to hear!
Is this the only software with this kind of anomalies?

Did you use the 10.6.6 Combo updater?
If not, you could re-install 10.6.6 on top of the current 10.6.6 using the Combo.

Sadly there are differences depending on which way you update.
I have no idea if this has anything to do with your problem or not, but since it is fairly easy to do, it might be worthwhile.

Thanx again,

All other Application run great, cubase, logic, pro tools, open office whatever, it's just the Control-Panel.

And you're sure you have the latest driver (including the Control Panel) for your model Mbox?
Which Pro Tools version do you have: 9.0 - 9.0.1 - or 9.0.2?

Unhappy Re: MBOX 3 Problems

Still not Working.
Mbox Driver 1.018
Pro Tools 9.02
OSX 10.6.6 (Combo-Update)
The Mbox is working fine with Pro Tools and Cubase 6
it's just the Control Panel
