Problem- PT 7.1.1/Focusrite ISA 428 and 96K record

Hi there.
Just upgraded from Mbox to 002 Rack. Got it all set up and running fine with Focusrite Prepak into 002 via lightpipe running @24/48..
I figured that if I wanted to record at 96K I could just set Focusrite to 96K and open up a new PT file at 96K.
Boy am I naive sometimes!
Anyway was wondering if anyone could walk me thru the set up for 96k 24bit recording with lightpipe and ISA prepak?
I would be so happy......

System 10.4.7, 17inch Macbook Pro, 1Gig ram, 120 gig LaCie firewire drive, PT 7.1.1, Focusrite ISA 428 Prepak going lightpipe into 002.

Light Pipe is 44.1/48kHz. Higher than that you have to use SMUX protocol. (Do a Google). I´m not sure if 002 support that. Try SP/DIF. (Only 2 channels )
