12.8.3 seems to be liked by most users.

Besides, it takes 30 seconds to run an installer again if you don't like it.

And if you're on Mac, you can simply rename 12.8.2 before installing the new one and run whichever you like at any time.

I've seen Avid employees that have 4-6 different versions of PT installed at any one time.

What about 12.8.3 with 10.13.2 how is that working out? I am on PT HD 12.7.1.733 and OS 10.12.4 and it has been my best setup since MT Lion and PT 10. Smooth graphics and solid Pro Tools.
I use FCPX as well and want to upgrade to the new version which is High Sierra only. I always backup my system apps etc. Just wondering what the consensus is.
I saw some folks were getting glitchy graphics with PT 12.8.2.

12.8.3 HD on Sierra and I just noticed an issue whereby I can’t edit or delete MIDI notes if they are at the beginning or end of a copied region. (Like first beat of a bar if it was cut/pasted on grid). I have to stretch out the region a little bit to be able to do anything to those notes.
