M40 configurations starting at $43,480 is maybe the 8ch version which VK just so happily didn't post...... I wouldn't trust VK.

Actually I think it's possible in the M40 custom configuration. Ask your rep maybe he already has that info.

Funny how many of the audio outlets like VK posted only package prices but didn't show individual item pricing like an 8ch M40 system? Now they have removed all advertised prices. Why not post individual pricing ??

I have the prices for all the modules with the exception of the automation module and the main process module for either m10 or m40.
Call your dealer, they should be able to tell you this much.

What's the prices? I'm not interested in the stand legs or module rack/console but just the modules.

Correct that Avid enforces a set advertised price on their products, and we're not allowed to advertise S6 pricing at all.

We do have a configuration site now live for it and you can log in to check that out with us! We've been working hard on this to help make it easier for you to build a console exactly how you want it. We have sold several and also installed one in a post house here in our very own building.

Yes the console is configurable in that fashion. Really the only limitation is if you go with the M10 frame, you cannot add the fader bank displays. Only the M40 allows for that. But then you could say you just want the main unit and all faders, no encoders or something, and that is possible. You would probably want to purchase the blank covers in that scenario to cover the empty space though! We're still working on the configuration tool on our site. It will become even more encompassing over the next few weeks.
