new motherboard and processor

I need some help to decide if i buy or not, this two things

-The motherboard "Intel D955XBKLKR Intel Socket 775 ATX Motherboard"
it comes with Intel 955X/ICH7R chipset,Front Side Bus: 800/1066MHz and
Processor Interface: Socket 775

-Processor Intel Pentium D 830 3.0GHz Dual-Core Processor

Processor Speed: 830 / 3.0GHz
Cache Size: 2MB
Processor Socket: Socket 775

I'm working with a digi001 and Pro tools LE 6.4 on Windows XP and I'm thinking about improve my pc, but i need to know if there are any compatibility problem with the motherboard and processor that I mencioned before...

if someone tried the motherboard and processor that I'm talking about, please send me your apinion or recomendations

Hello,

001 will not be compatible with pt7 so dualcore will not be utilised.

Prefer AMD dualcores much more improved than intel ones.
