Default ADC - can\'t enter H/W insert values in \"samples\"??

I have selected "samples" as the basis for ADC in the preferences, but in the I/O setup, you have to enter ADC values in milliseconds. I don't know how to convert samples to milliseconds....is there a way to enter the H/W insert values in samples???

thanks,

Andy

You have to use the ADC User Value in the Mix Window.

Aside from the fact the current limitation of specifying Hardware Delay values in the I/O Setup with a resolution limited to a tenth of a millisecond is positively… (cough) “delayed”*…

Quote:
[…] I don't know how to convert samples to milliseconds…
Sampling Rate (SR) = number of samples/second
“milli” prefix = thousanth
“kilo” (k) prefix = thousands
"Hertz" (Hz) = Frequency (i.e. occurrences/second)

For example…

A sampling rate 44.1 kiloHertz (kHz) = 44,100 samples/second

Therefore… 44.1 samples/millisecond

The simple formula: 1ms = SR/1000

IHTH.
