Default Pro Tools 12.5.2

Hello there,

I was wondering if anybody could help me.

I am attempting to update my version of Pro Tools 12 from 12.4 to 12.5.2.

When I log into my my avid account and go to the download pages I can only find download links for the MAC version of 12.5.2 but not Windows. Is there anywhere else I can find the download link?

I'm trying to get rid of a 'running out of CPU' message. Really annoying I'm running a session with 4 tracks of audio and using less than 50% CPU. Hopefully updating will fix.

Many thanks,

James

Both links (Mac and PC) should be available right by each other. I will say, 12.4 is a better release (imo) than 12.5 or 12.6. 12.4 and 12.7 are the more solid 12 releases.

The highest version I can find in my 'My Avid' section is 12.5.2 and both downloads are MAC.

Log into your Avid account and click on "Access the Support Center". Select "Cases" and then "Create New Case" and enter your problem there. Having used this before it usually gets a reply from Avid the same day.

I can see the Windows Download Pro_Tools_12_5_2_Win_91791.zip, but it appears to be corrupt - it keeps asking for the last disk of the set when I try to open it.

I would try downloading with a different browser, or try unzipping with a different program(as in; if you use WinZip, try WinRar)
