Re: No brainer from Don't Crack
Nice, looks like a pretty comprehensive channel strip.
How does it sound?

Re: No brainer from Don't Crack
Just bought it 'cause it's so cheap. I'll let you know if it"s any good. Either way, for this price it's worth it just for the adventure of trying it. Ha

Re: No brainer from Don't Crack
True Dat...Though my go to channel strip is Metric Halo. Getting to the point now where I've got at least a half dozen different channel strips: Eventide, Metric Halo, Avid, Waves, Waves Ren Channel, I think there's one or two more in there...and now Blue Tubes Track Box.
But hey, more cheap plugins is always better.

Re: No brainer from Don't Crack
This is part of the Integral Studio Pack 3, which comes with something like 50 plug-ins, some are excellent (Echoes, Cosmos, Magnetic II) . ISP3 went on sale last year for $199. It might go on sale for that amount soon. It's a mixed bag; some of them are definitely not all that good, but a lot of them are really good. Regardless, It's worth it.
http://store.dontcrack.com/product_i...roducts_id=898 I bought it back then, even though only 4 of the plug-ins were 64 bit AAX. Now they're all 64 bit AAX.

Re: No brainer from Don't Crack
The only plugins from the Blue Tubes suite that are worthwhile, in my opinion, are the reverb and oilcan echo. Maybe the valve driver too, it's been awhile since I've used it.

Re: No brainer from Don't Crack
This is my own opinion. But.
I am so tiered of all these junk plugin companies truing to survive in this over over manufacturing era. I am glad to pay $4500 for a single plugin which works - Cedar DNS One and I will not pay $9,99 for the sake of charity. My plugin folder often irritates me when I see so much junk un it, I never use / used / will use. But thats me and I have no one to point to blame. And one could ask why I simply don't clear up my Plug-ins folder and move to unused plugin folder? Yeah…but I bought them. I bought this junk. And I bought this junk very cheap. Lets face it: 90% of all this tube saturation / tape saturation /warmth crap don't worth a penny. Many mixes that I heard (came to me) with them are just muddy and smeared. Most stereo "enhancers" are phase trouble makers. Most reverbs are nor phase coherent as well. Most noise reductions are poor re-designed multi band compressors. And multi band compressors / limiters / Active EQ's is a razor in a baby's hand. And my favourite one: all EQ's are almost the same, the difference is in their graphic interface…but they are less harmful from all of the above. Don't judge me, that's only me. I use only 3-5 plugins which work and I don't mind paying whatever they ask as these tools promote my work tasks. And I am very open for new, better tools but I hate when someone comes to me with the tears, calling it no brainer and ask for $9.99 for another channel strip. …And I wish the Avid channel strip would be detachable. Thats why I bought Avid Pro Limiter and Avid Pro Compressor. I sell my Expander license for $40 BTW.
