Default Track fader and gain indicator

Hi!

How to set PT 2018 so that in a track the fader and volume indicator moves at the same time. I mean that the gain indicator and the fader show the same volume in a track.

Thank You.

Your question is not very clear, but I am guessing you are looking for the post fader meter setting under the Options menu.

If that is not it please ask again.

(You want to use on pre-fader on tracks you are recording to, so you can see the actual ADC input level.).

The Pro Tools Reference guide explains the metering options and meter types very well, and you should have a good mental picture of that and the whole track signal flow also well explained there.
