Should I be able to hear sound?
I got a brand new iMac 27inch that just came out 2 days ago and Pro Tools LE Mbox Mini--I dont have monitors or headphones yet but I thought for the time being the sound would just come out of the iMac but I cant hear anything coming from Pro Tools---
Is this just how it works? That I need to plug into the interface in order to hear sound? Thanks (I know this is prob a stupid question)

You are absolutely right about pluggin into the interface - LE is only able to output sound through its own interface (so you'll need headphones or speakers plugged into MBox Mini). In Pro Tools 9 and above you are free to use Mac's inbuilt audio in Pro Tools software, so you can hear everything you do in Pro Tools in your iMac speakers.
