audio files vanishing, help
I have started losing audio files. I record a track, save the session. close it, reopen the session, the track is still there. Then I come back the next day the regions are still there but are blank, and the audio files are still listed, but the letters are faded (not black) and italicized. I try to relink but pt can' find them. What's going on???

Re: audio files vanishing, help
what pt version do you have? same with mac.
the italic letters mean there are losing audios. don't erase losing audio regions they'll tell you were to put your audios(if you needed too), open your audio folders same fade's, look there (most probably they're not 'cause you couldn't relink) use finder(of the mac) if you named audio regions, or named the chanells, if you find them, try relink manually, or import them and put them by grabber.
