Default Sad news for Dave Mustaine

Dave Mustaine of Megadeth has been diagnosed with throat cancer. 57 is too young for this kind of thing.

Love him or hate him pray he comes through this okay.

That's sad to hear! My favorite album is Youthanasia, I think it's one of the most beautiful albums ever made in rock history.

Best wishes to Dave for a successful treatment and speedy, full recovery.

P.S. Symphony Of Destruction is still a benchmark piece of rock music and production.

Definitely a big fan of Mustaine's work. Spent a lot of my time in high school listening to Rust in Peace, Countdown to Extinction and Youthanasia... Great albums.

On a positive note, a very good friend was diagnosed many years ago and recovered completely. Hopefully, this will just be a bump in the road for Dave

I sure hope so. It isn't going so well for Beth Chapman (Dog the Bounty Hunter's wife). Her throat cancer which was cured a couple of years ago has come back with a vengeance. She's in a medically induced coma.

From a personal perspective cancer can be a hard nut to crack - you think it's licked and it comes back maybe somewheres else.
