These sorts of threads are useless and probably glossed over by Avid. Why don't you say exactly what MIDI improvements you want? Off the top of my head, a built-in virtual midi keyboard that you can call up instantly like in Logic is looooong overdue and would be awesome.

My personal midi wishlist. Feel free to add requests to this list.
  1. Key commands to recall CC lanes views in the midi editor (lane view selector).
  2. Parabolic and S-curve tool available for controller (CC) editing/drawing
  3. True parabolic and S-curves in the tempo track
  4. No more cpu spiking (disabling core0 required as workaround - still present in 12.7)
  5. Fix the score editor problems so it can be used with large midi templates

I've been asking for number 2 in your list forever (on Ideascale too)

Honestly, if Avid wants to stay relevant in the audio world, they HAVE to implement better midi editing and capabilities, not loops. I do a lot of film/video composing, and when I watch reviews of new VSTs or Kontakt libraries, I'm always jealous of whichever DAW they're using.

I don't have the time nor energy to learn a new program like I know Pro Tools. And maybe thats what Avid is counting on. But it would just feel nice to be taken care of.
