Default Pro Tools Always Crashing with two simultaneous plugins running
I run Spectrasonic Trilian with EZmix simultaneous with Reaper, Ableton and Cubase with no problem, but with Pro Tools, Pro Tools always crashes after a minute or two of editing Trilian. If I just run Trilian by itself or EZmix by itself no problem. Any ideas how to fix?

Ask for an update? Spectrasonics has done it so they should be able to address your issue...

I guess assuming it was Trilian related because it crashes when actively auditioning Trilian and not when I'm in EZMix, but I think it's worth a try. I'll check back in after running a few more tests. Thanks for the suggestion.

The exact error message was as follows:

Assertion in "..\ ..\ Sys\ Win32\ Sys_FileLocWin32.cpp", line 548.

I moved hear from the east coast back in 1999. Why did you move away?

FYI, The solution seemed to be adding an automation lane for Trilian.

thats an interesting fix .. i took a staff job at House of Blues corporate as sound mixer / recordist / asst video director for about a year and 1/2 .. then 9/11 happened and the entire video dept. was dissolved ..

i landed up here on the westside that time and that has been 16 years now !!! ..
