Default Pro Tools 12.8 w OS X 10.12.5 Support

When will AVID be releasing the next PT 12 HD update and will it support OS X 10.12.5?

I'm in the process of upgrading my system. I find it funny as I consider spending $1k on an HD 11 "reinstatement" plan to update to 12, that the regular updates and support are marketed, but AVID haven't released an update in 4 months. (Feb 2017 to 12.7.1).

Is that typical for your "update plans"?

Is there a public schedule that AVID can share of when they plan to rollout updates to the community they're charging for monthly or annual updates access? Love to see some more transparency from the development team!

Thanks for any thoughts/recommendations.

Avid and transparency are two separate things....

I find it unbelievable for a company as Avid to have nothing to share anything about a roadmap or anything....

With a pricetag of 399 I expect more, but the digidesign days are over... it is strictly business now and who cares about customers.

I love protools but I don't like Avid...
