When you record the track dry all you record is the sound of your guitar...no amp/cab/effects. Revalver is an amp sim (like amplitube, guitar rig, TH1, etc.), so I can just put the plugin on that track if I'm unsatisfied and use the plugin in the mix. To reamp through the 11r, you have to re-record that dry signal through your 11r again on a different track.

If you don't want to re-amp, you can just use the cab simulation in revalver instead. The cab simulations are IR based...you choose a cab IR and go (so it's kinda like a less powerful MixIR2, but with the added bonus of an ampsim if you want it).

Ummm you've got me a little lost here?

Well, of course you have to hit the record button again on a different track to arm the reamping process, but, you don't need to play the actual piece again. You use the dry track put FX/cab/whatever and bob's your uncle, new track that's for lack of a better word FX'ed.

But I suppose you can record a dry track and a wet track at the same time on different tracks if need be.
