Sweet. Intel finally released the Xenon-based Nehalem chips as well. I will post the boards that could work in a minute.

Also very interesting the latest Motherboards Xeon socket 1366 from Supermicro .
series X8DAH and X8DTH , both 7 pci-e slots (without old PCI )
the X8DAH+ seems the best one for my future workstation .

first tests failed...

the bios won´t fix settings correct. ram-settings, voltage settings won´t fix. feels kinda "beta".

xp freeze on install. will do vista/win7 this week. might be a bios issue. i´ll get another board next week, so let´s hope it´s just a faulty one now.

the P6T7 might be more problematic, cause of 2 NF200 chips. the pcie-slots are splitted into 3 (NF200 nr.1) and 4 slots (nf200 nr.2). looks problematic to me.

S1366 boards aren´t that stable at the moment, that´s no surprise.
