Default PT 12.4 track name plate undocumented feature?

Quiet day today, decided to install PTHD 12.4. In addition to a lot of new features and a fix that I personally requested, the track name plates are wider. I can read more of each track name. Very convenient.

By the way, the incredibly small fix was:

Quote:
Track selection is no longer lost after performing an Export Selected Tracks as New Session
I'm liking the new "rapid development" Avid.

Haven't had time to download it, it.

But it seems (to some extent at least) each release is getting better instead of the two steps forward three steps back we've seen sometimes. I'm liking the new releases as well.

I noticed this fix that a lot of people complained about with the last release:

Command Focus fade shortcut "f" no longer fails to follow the saved millisecond value in the Fades dialog.

Glad to see it was quickly resolved.

YES! Was just about to post about this. I never knew how much I rely on that feature... was about to craft a keyboard macro "f" to execute command-f-enter! Now I will download 12.4 instead.

I am liking the longer name plate. It's a side effect of the new freeze button. I wish they could always fix the first 5 inserts in as well. Maybe next year.
