Default creating names for MIDI Controllers?

Hi everyone,

is there a way to actually give a name to a MIDI controller for a specific device?
e.g. to read "cutoff" instead of "unknown controller 69"?
I know it works for patches, but this is of no use to me.
thanks in advance

Actually, now that I've re-read your post I realise that I probably don't have an answer to your question. You're looking to add labels to the continuous controllers? This is actually (along with labels for the program change values) one of the most requested MIDI features for PT. I'm not sure why they haven't impliemented it yet. We'll see.
