PT11.2.1 and 10.3.9 Co-Install

I just got the 11.2.1 update and I am wondering about installing it.
Do you guys know what is the procedure? I already have 10.3.9 and 11.2.0 running fine in Mavericks but I am afraid to mess things up.

If you're on a Mac just install right over the top of your present PT11 install as the installer shows to do (drag the PT icon to the Applications folder shown in the PT11 installer window). You do know PT10.3.9 is not okayed by Avid for use on Mavericks right? It may run okay but the uninstaller won't work.

So I just drag it in or do I need to uninstall 11.2.0 before?
The 10.3.9 and 11.2.0 are running fine on Mavericks.
I can't remember if I first installed 10.3.9 first and then 11.2.0 or the other way around and I don't know if I have to uninstall and start all over again or just replace 11.2.0 with 11.2.1

Like I said - you just drag the PT icon to the Applications folder in the installer window - no need to uninstall previous versions of PT11. Uninstalls were only routinely done for PT10 prior to installing updates.

10.3.9 will run under Mavericks but there may be issues which Avid is not liable for being they haven't certified it for working in Mavericks. It's a case of you pay your money and you take your chances.

Coinstalls of PT10 and 11 work better, at least on a Mac, if you install PT10 first and then PT11; has something to do with the folder structure I think. PT11 reads some of the same files PT10 uses which is why a lot of times certain things (preferences in some areas) are carried over into 11 that are in 10 where you had to manually set things.

I have 10.3.8 (because 10.3.9 is fatally broken for TDM users) running fine with 11.2.1 on the latest version of Mavericks. Fire away.
