PT8 and PT9, one ilok?

Going to upgrade to PT9 and only have one ilok. Can I have both PT8 (with DV toolkit license on the ilok) and PT9 on the same ilok, install PT9 on a different computer and just switch between two until PT9 is rock solid for me? Or will upgrading to PT9 do something to the old licenses on my ilok?

In my experience, from PT7 to PT8, we were able to have both licenses on an iLok without any trouble.

I had to surrender my PT8 licence when crossgrading to PT9. Don't know about buying the full product - you'd imagine you could have both though.

That sucks. What if PT9 is really buggy and you need to go back to 8 for certain sessions!? I may well have to hold off upgrading now until I get some reviews about the actual engine and if its any less buggy than 8 was

I hope PT9 license does authorize 8 too (if you are a 8 owner).

It should! Can anyone confiem this?

But we (PTHD users) do have a backup 8.0 auth also right?
