Default Re: C24 ALL LIT UP

I'm back...

Last week preamps 9-16 were dead and the overload led's were red. Turns out a pin in one of the Molex was arcing enough to cause a deposit at the connection point. Timing couldn't have been better. Same week as "ALU" started up. Replaced Molex and did the same ALU power supply routine. Had to be about a year since my last ALU episode. I still think this unit should not be powered down unless you're not going to use it for a few days. I turned mine off maybe ten times in the last year.

Yeah.... I'll need to do it again this weekend too.

Now my 1-8 have intermittent static.
Tapping.... or punching.... or B**** Slapping the top left of the Control 24 makes it stop instantly.

More bad connections.

Sheeeeeeesh.

I have taken steps to reduce static issues and that has helped a lot. No more monitor issues.

Static shocks were causing DC current through my monitor section causing my monitors to draw all the way in, bottoming out.

Poor NS10M Studios... No audible or visible damage though.

I said I'd link a pic some day. Here.
Pre Construction. I'll get new pics up when that's all done and my Argosy Racks get here.
I've sold the Triton LE and ad replaced it with a Triton Pro X, Motif 6, and Fantom X6 (Not Pictured)

I've had the clicking with 2 Control 24's and in both cases it was the PSU. Replaced them both, one worked again (and still does) and the other started giving other problems (mainly scribble strips turning on and off, faders not reacting anymore).

So I traded it for a C24 which is brilliant.
