You will receive an email with the activation process in the following weeks. Avid has to send out an enormous amount of these for registered Student Edition users. You will get yours just be patient

Default Free EDU upgrade PT 10 to 11 - how does it work?

I have bought and registered an EDU version of Pro Tools 10 this year. This included free upgrades for 4 years.

How do I upgrade from Pro Tools 10 to Pro Tools 11?

I did not get any email with instructions, and I did not find any help on Avid's website, either.

Thank you very much for your assistance!

I also purchased an academic version with 4 years of upgrades as well, and I am currently a student. I have been trying to find an answer to your exact question as well.

I have emailed the authorized Avid retailer I purchased PT10 from, but I have not yet received a response.

Avid, please offer some guidance on this subject.

Thank you . .

Default Pro Tools 11 - Student Upgrade

Hi Everyone,

I just wondered if any students had received the free upgrade or if there is a date set for when they should arrive?

I just thought I better check just in case I'm missing out :)

Cheers,

Apologies I've just seen another thread with a response to this question. Apparently it could take up to two weeks.

Cheers,

Uargh, I can't get access to my student mail account (with which my avid account is registred). And I can't seem to change the email address in my account settings either.

Any ideas? who to contact?

Just an update to anyone else reading this interested. The student keys will be e-mailed out "in a few weeks" and the 30 trial is broken as it stands (trial license transfer bug in software).
