Re: PTF on my laptop?
I installed PTF on my 233 laptop and I tried to work but it was very slow.So I install it on my Desktop Celeron 2.4 , 1 gb ram and 40 gb HDD.The program is runing very well but I have some problems.I'm runing it on my onboard soundcard via Behringer mixer. When I plug my guitar into the mix and on Pro Tools enable recording(outLoutR) there's a loud noise and when I turn the out to bus1 there's no noise and I can hear the guitar very clear. Before it started to make noise when I pluged the guitar and play the sound on the output was delayed and when I changed output to bus1 the delay stoped. And there's another problem. When I add more audio tracks in the session the sound is changing. It's starting to crack, noise. Is this because my Celeron 2.4 has 128 cache or something other?I've set PTF buffer to 1024 and CPU Limit to 85%.Please help me to solve this problems. Thanks!
