Welcome. Maybe it's simply because your question has already been asked a million time. Have you tried the search function? We've been comparing PT to Nuendo, Logic and DP for years on an hourly basis.

Just did a search by your member number - your thread "ProTools LE vs. Digital Performer" shows up in the search, but then links to an incorrect thread. You may have just been subject to a server hiccough on the DUC, sometimes it happens.

Check out the link to the rules DesertDude posted, but for the most part threads here aren't deleted unless they make reference to illegal software (kracks/serial nubers) or if they are hostile/deragatory or otherwise socially inappropriate. I didn't see your post, but the differences between PTLE and other audio sequencers has been discussed on this forum many times without deletion before, so my guess is that your thread probably just got re-numbered incorrectly or something. Maybe the Digi moderator will shed some light.

Check out the search function if you're interested in more info in comparing PTLE to other programs, you'll find lots of info. (The search function is on the right side near the top of the page underneath the "reply" link).

Default New to User Conference

I'm new to this Forum (Digi User Conference) and had my first post deleted.

It was asking about the differences between Pro Tools and another product (which shall go nameless in fear of this post being deleted).

I'm not sure why the post was deleted, so perhaps long time memebers of this forum could shed a bit of light on why the post was deleted / moved / vanished.

To me it seemed like an appropriate post but perhaps I'm wrong?
