Default OS X 10.3.4 and PT TDM 6.2.3

digidesign says that though PT TDM 6.2.3 is not officially supported on 10.3.4, initial testing shows no problems and they haven't had any problems reported regarding this configuration.......is anybody else using this combo without any unusual or major problems? We have 10.3.2 and TDM 6.2.3 here at the studio, and we haven't yet purchased a PT 6.4 upgrade but i'd like to update the OS to 10.3.4 if that is also a stable system.

Is anyone running Mix hardware with 6.2.3 and OS 10.3.4, with ATTO DC or UL3D cards? We'd like to take advantage of 10.3.4 and ATTO driver 3.10 (for the UL3D), to rescan the SCSI bus and mount SCSI drives without shutting down and re-starting.

Thank you in advance.

Note, of course, that MIX is not officially qualified on Pro Tools 6.2.3 (but you knew that), but also note that ATTO does not support the rescan feature on the DC card - just the UL3D.

And on 2 Digi systems I have the problem that I can record just 16 - 20 tracks on one disk with Atto driver v 3.10.
If I try more PT says: disk to slow or fragmented.

Cheers Wolfgang

Thank you Wolfgang. How many tracks can you play back? We usually record to Firewire drives, but play back 32 to 48 tracks from a SCSI drive, with fairly dense editing at times.
