GUI Lagging with certain plugins
Hi. I recently upgraded my Mac Pro 7.1 Intel to Ventura (13.6.3) OS and lastest version of Pro Tools Ultimate 2023.12 (before that I was on Catalina and Pro Tools 2023.11 with perfect performace). I run Pro Tools HDX.
I have a two displays setup (monitor at 2560x1440 and TV at 1080p). Since the upgrade everything seems to work well except for an annoying GUI lag that just happens in one of the displays (the monitor). And this happens only when I display just some plugins (for example Brainworks BX Digital V3 or Steven Slate Trigger 2) but is fine with most other plugins. As soon as I close the window of the plugin the performace is again perfect (meaning the plugin is still on, just the window is closed). Also as soon as I move the opened plugin window to the second monitor the performance is again good... and when I move that window back to the monitor the GUI is laggy again. When I say laggy I mean that everything (pro tools meters, plugin meters etc) moves slow and late refreshing. Does anybody found a similar problem? Thanks Last edited by Dany Richter; 01-25-2024 at 04:32 AM. |
