Internal/External drive
Sorry I put this in "general topics", without realizing this is the place.
Please could someone help me with the following choice. I need a fast hard-drive to run PT with AMIII, up til now I´ve been getting along with powermix.. Is it ok to add an internal drive or can I replace my original slow-drive? - Is it better to have OS and PT on one drive and record on the other? Would an external drive be better (heat? speed?) This wide/ultra-wide/narrow/fast SCSI thing has me totally confused. I´m running: Mac 7500(604e/166),AMIII,OS 8.1,PT 3.4 Which coffee blend is the choice of pro engineers? Thanks for any help imi |
