Default "Automation follows edit" button orange when turned off? [SOLVED]

I've never encountered this before.

When it's turned on, it shows the standard blue color. The editing behavior works as it should, I'm just curious about the GUI. I have checked the manual and internet, there is no mention I can find of this behavior.

This occurred in a PT 11HD session. I quit, reopened the session and it still happens. It does not occur when opening the same session in PT 10HD. Just for kicks, I created a new session in 11HD - Yep, the orange still shows up.

This is normal.

Added in 11 and a vast improvement in my opinion. It shows when AFE is NOT enabled and the orange color serves as a reminder to turn it back on once you're done with it being off. The other functions in that area are no where near as destructive if left off as that one can be.

Alright, I suppose I never noticed it before since I almost always have AFE turned on. Thanks.

PT 11 Ref Guide , page 990 :
"The indicator is highlighted when enable and not highlighted when it is disabled."

Seems, the manual is not up to date.
(and a "d" is missing )

Even better

AFEAlerter from maggot:

http://www.maggot.co.nz/software/download.shtml

will flash your screen red when AFE is turned off. Has saved my life multiple times in the past. And it's free.

Frank.
