I'm this close to selling my 002r and buying a different sound card that is compatible with Leopard:

That is all.

It works,

what version are you running?

My system works with Leopard 10.5.1 and PTLE 7.4 with the CS3 update.

None of the versions worked for me.

10.5.0, 10.5.1, 10.5.2 ... using a 002r with Ableton Live.

Yes, I could have waited to upgrade. But there were features in Leopard that I needed immediately, Time Machine being one of them. So I upgraded, and figured I'd wait a couple months for Digi to release an update. But it's been four months now...

So even though I love my 002, and even though I think that MOTU sound cards are pretty lame, this is compelling me to switch over.

It makes me sad.

Alright, I'll stop the "pointless ranting" now.

like I said, what version of ProTools are you running? 7.4CS3 works on an Intel Mac with 10.5.1 Leopard.

Can you find a Tiger install disk and boot off a secondary drive when you want to use your 002? Its likely Digi will give us the fix for Leopard in April, although it surely depends on Apple, as well. Worst case, I think we would have to wait until 10.5.3 is out if they need Apple to fix some OS stuff.
