Maxtor ATA/100 30GB
I'm about to upgrade to a Pro Tools 24/Mix. I've been very successfully using a Maxtor 7200 RPM ATA/100 30GB as a dedicated drive for audio with the Digi 001. I'm aware that Digidesign approves up to 32 tracks, 24bit, 48khz with this configuration on a 24/Mix system.
My question is for anyone out there using an internal ATA like the Maxtor for audio with a 24/Mix system and what kind of performance you're getting with it? Christoph1123
