OSX sleep mode and mbox shutdown
i'm wondering if this is normal behavior or not. i'm running OSX 10.3.8 with an Mbox and LE 6.4. when i put the G5 in sleep mode the mbox lights stay lit while the rest of the computer goes to sleep. but if i actually use protools first and then put the computer in sleep mode the mbox lights first go to red and then shutoff. one of the reasons sleep mode is good is because the computer is consuming very little power. but obviously if the mbox stays on the computer is wasting power for someting that is not needed. it just seems kind of clunky that anytime i turn on my computer to do anything i need to remember to open a protools session first so when i put the computer in sleep mode the mbox will power off too. this was definitely happening in 10.3.7 too but i'm not sure in versions previous to that. has anyone else noticed this? thanks!
