Need Help mbox mini 2 and mac

Hello,

I have pt 7 since 2009 but i have used it for a short time because my pc was not so powerful to support it.Now I own a new macbook pro 13 and i tried to install pt 7.3 on it but the mbox 2 mini does not lights up.I tried to download the firmware update but it seems to be impossible because the power pc apps are not supported. What to do?
At that time (2010) i asked digidesign if was possible to download the upgrade to pt 8 and they send me an email with the instruction to do that and i did it at that time.Anyone know if the links they sent me are still valid?

If the MBP is really "new", it likely has OSX 10.7.x Lion preloaded. That should not work with PT LE 7. It is unlikely to work with PT LE 8.0.5, which was the last release. As to whether the link to PT 8 still works, you can tell us whether it does or not.

I'm confused by your comment about PPC apps not being supported. If you have an i3, you shouldn't care about PPC apps. What am I missing?

I installed pt 8 and then the up grade to 8.5 and everything worked perfectly then i installed ignition pack 2 ant pt. Does not launch.. It says that pt has unexpectedly quit/closed.I un installed pt and removed some the plugins but nothing changed.i'm New to pt and Mac so i Have some problema

Which OS are you using? As Bob mentioned, you'll have to upgrade to 9 or 10 to make PT work with Lion.
SOME people have managed to get 8 working. So if 8.0.5 was fine for you without the ignition pack, I would just leave out the ignition pack.
Or update to 10.
