upgraded to 12.8.2, now no midi tracks will play
I upgraded fromPro Tools 12.8.1 to 12.8.2 hoping plug-ins (like grand piano) would work again. Now none of my MIDI tracks will play.
Should I just uninstall and go back to 12.8.1? Any benefit in 12.8.2? Is this some other issue I am just not seeing? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am using iMac (27-inch, Late 2009) 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7., OS 10.12.6 16 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 External 2 TB FireWire Disk g-drive Apogee Quartet (not Pro Tools Quartet)

In the edit window, look at your instrument tracks and make sure their outputs are assigned to the proper instrument plugins. Sometime PT drops the assignments…
