Default PT 9.0.3 -- does it work with MBox Pro?

I have PT9 -- a cross-grade from PT 5/6. I'm wondering if it'll work with the MBox Pro or whether those units need a specific version of PT9 that is specially compatible with them. NOTE that I have just come off a bad experience with a Tascam US-1800 -- it just doesn't work with Protools and I have to return it to Guitar Center. I'd very much like to avoid getting any units which don't work *flawlessly* with PT9.

I'm also considering the M-Audio Profire 2626. Note that both of these units are listed on the Avid Compatibility Page as "supported" units. However, I really don't want to waltz in and and buy one of these only to learn that it doesn't work with Windows 7 64-bit such that I have to return it and pay the restocking fee.

Can anyone comment on this? Help would be much appreciated.

Yes the Mbox 2 Pro works. Just install this driver first: http://secure.digidesign.com/service...&localeCode=en

FWIW, if you decided to get the 2626 it works very well with PT9 here.

Are you sure it's not PT9 which doesn't work with your computer?
