Do you have Bluetooth enabled on the phone, and the computer ???

Believe it or not, my Cell phone ringing would cause massive amounts of CTRL+Clicking, scrolling, and selecting on my Powerbook.... very scarey depending on where the mouse pointer was on the screen, it'd remove applications from the dock.... delete files from my desktop, and open a ton of files with 1 ring.

I can re-produce this with a nokia 6820 Phone, and a Powerbook, both with Bluetooth running "Open" with no authorization requirements.

Solution.... move the cell phone away from the desk!

Sorry, for the sarcasm... the image just struck me as extremely funny... your phone rings, your cursor jumps, you jump, you crap your pants, the phone rings again and the apparent demonic possesion of your computer continues... you run from the room screaming (with your cell phone) and the apparent possesion ceases!

Cheers,

Yeah Brian... that's ok... you have to be Sarcastic to stay warm... it was 7 degrees when i was there this weekend !

That Is the obvious solution though... but the first time it happened, i suspected Bluetooth transmission as the culprit... once i disabled it... the phone doesn't effect the powerbook anymore.

Ocassionally I'll enable it, to show people, but I'll make sure there is nothing important on my desktop.
