Default PCIe HD2 or HD3 working on Intel D975XBX ?

I have purchased a HD2 system and decided on PCIe as its the way forward for the future and technically these cards should work on a Wintel Motherboard.
Is anyone on this list in the same boat and is waiting for Digi to qualify some motherboards or better still has anyone tested at least a HD1 PCIe core card on a Wintel machine?

here is what I want to use
