Default Error 9128 with WIN 7

Now Im getting error 9128,remove some RTAS increase CPU usage. This is why I upgraded so I do not get this.Added more ram, went to win 7 64 bit.
Any ideas before I go MAC?
Very disturbing. What route to take.
Thanks

Default Re: Error 9128 with WIN 7

PT LE 8.0.3
002 Rack
Command 8
Installed the 64 Audio Driver

On one session with many plug ins, slow like molases. The mouse is slow, key board response almost none existant, and when I try some commands quickly, it froze. I then re booted, opened another session, less plug ins, it is much more responsive. It works, it just does not feel correct.Llike it is going to freeze any minute.
My PACE drivers are updated. I have WAVES,McDSP Native,T-Racks Deluxe, Sonalksis, some other ones. I just purchased the Exp PACk. Installed Strike 1.5. Have not installed Structure as of yet.
I was reading in the forums of some issues with NVIDA. Could it be that?
Thanks

Wink Re: Error 9128 with WIN 7

Ok,went back and reversed everything that was recommended from this page http://avid.custkb.com/avid/app/self...p?DocId=349411. WIN 7 optimization. The only plug ins I made inactive are T Racks 3 Deluxe. Waves, McDSp, etc., all active. It WORKS!!!!
I lowered playback engine to 512, and the latency is more then fine.I recoreded a bass part, no problem. Next, I will activate the T Rackcs see what happens.
But, if there is a more responsive mother board, proccesor or video card out there that can improve the performane, let me know.
I will follow up after I activate the T Racks.
thanks

I have a similar system but with an Asus P5Q Deluxe MOBO and 8 GB of 1066 RAM, CPU over clocked to 3.4, A TI F/W controller, and all the recommended optimizations. All is well even with a couple of Waves bundles, Spectrasonics, and BFD. I do use ATI video cards though.

Ok, started up with T racks. Worked good. The only thing that I do see, is some lagging on the screen. Graphics are slightly sluggish. Could it be the video card? You think that might be the problem? Weird!
Which video card would you recommend? I run two monitors.

Thanks
