Default Procontrol and 3-d party support

When will the ProControl be available as a SDK for other 3-d party sequensers?
I would love to be able to use Logic Audio with my Procontrol as well as Protools.
The same goes for the AV options.
Both at least in a rudimentary way....

Please say that this is still the plan.
That is one of the reasons we bought three of these guys, as th eopen architecture would
give us these options.

Love Protools but would love also to be
able to use it with other specialized software.
Please don't give up the Open 3-d party tactics of yesteryear Digi!
The 3-d party additions is obviously one of the things that has made PT such a success...
Keep it up!

regards

I don't know what the current plans for this are, but I will talk with product management and see if I can get an answer for you.

houser,

There are currently no plans to develop ProControl for use with other applications. I have passed on your comments and suggestions to our product development team. Thanks for your interest.

Digi CS, Bob,

I think that is a real shame.

3-d party collaboration has been key in my
decision to invest in Protools and rudimentary support for more professional deep sequensers like (in my case)
Logic Audio is vital for the depth and scope of this DAW platform.
It's great that Protools has Midi but it is
not the tool for everything.
just being able to use faders, pan and automation in a mappable way from other
and more musical sequensers is crucial.

Please reconsider!

best regards
