Has 'Export Region Definitions' stopped working?

I haven't used 'Export Region Definitions' in a long time, but when I tried to recently and again today, it did not work.

I select a region in the region list, click on "Export Region Definitions...", a dialog opens, I click "Export" and nothing happens.

The modified date of the source file is unchanged, and when I try to import that region, it doesn't show up in the import window as it had in the past.

All of the posts here lead me to believe that everyone thinks it does not work.

Does it work for you?

I've tried this on 7.4.2, and 7.4 and on several different systems in our studio but it does not export a region definition any more as far as I can tell.

Works fine for me. You won't see any processes occurring after you click 'export.' When you try to import the parent file, you should see the region definitions directly under the parent file you are trying to import in the "regions in current file" window of the import audio window.

Yes, that's what I'm expecting to happen- but it just doesn't happen.

Importing the file back in to protools, all I see is the parent file in the import window. Odd...
