Corrupted file PT 10.2 mac os x
I've downloaded the installer from AVID many times and each time I try to install it give me a corrupted file error. I'm going crazy. Any one have another way to get the file?

First check to see if you have downloaded the complete file:
It is possible that a different application is trying to open the disk image, and some (like Pacifist) will not be able to open it, where the default Apple DiskImageMounter application will open it. You can also open/mount it using Disk Utility (in Applications/Utilities), choosing File>Open Disk Image. If none of the above works, then you should try deleting any downloads that begin with the name "Pro_Tools_10_2_Installer", including partial downloads. Then you should clear your browser cache, and try downloading again. Or try a different browser. Or last thing to try, download to a different hard drive than you normally do, to eliminate a possible partial cached download. |
