Default No Tracks, No PlugIns and STILL H/W Buffer Size 6086 error! HELP!!!

I dnt know whats happening with ProTools, I'm getting the 6086 error on a new session without even any track created or any plug in inserted. Ive tried different buffer sizes and still the same.

Running ProTools LE 8.0.5 on:
MacBook OS X 10.6.8
Processor 2.1GHz Core 2 Duo
Ram: 4GB

Used to run pretty good before on same computer.

Any idea whats going on?? going crazy here!

This is typical behaviour of an unsupported or incompatible plugin, it doesn't matter if it's being used in the session or not. Try removing all third party, no Avid plugins from the plugins folder (Applications > Digidesign > Pro Tools > Plug aliases) and relaunch.

Any luck?

Needed to downgrade ProTools to 8.0.3 as some of the plug ins were not compatible with 8.0.5 version. That was causing the problem.

Thanks a lot mate
