Why has this happened?

Hello, as far as my knowledge Smack!, Sound Replacer, Noise Reduction and TL Space Native are inclusive plugins of Pro Tools 9.

I know this, because I have been using them every since I purchased Pro Tools 9 late last year!!

I downloaded and updated the 9.0.1 version when that came out.. nothing changed. Still happy with pro tools and its operation.

I downloaded and updated 9.0.2 version.. Now I'm asked to authorize these 4 plugins when I open up pro tools. I click authorize and I have no license apparantly!

I uninstalled and reinstalled 9.0.0! then updated once again to 9.0.1! Now I am still being asked to authorize!

I need these plugins, especially sound replacer!! I use that a lot on some drum tracks!

Please, I need a solution to this asap as I used the plugins on a project and now they aren't there.. I need to give the project back to the clients thursday and I cannot bounce them yet!

Can you not download and install the latest versions? Or do you have a backup plan to quickly revert to the previous setup? I always clone my system drive before any update to cover just this kind of issue.

Do you mean PT9 HD? because I have the basic PT9 and I sure don't have these plugins. Would like 'em though!

The authorizations should be on your ilok. Do you have that plugged in? Also make sure you have the latest client drivers from ilok.com

I thought at least TL Space and Smack were part of the Music Production Toolkit... should be on an iLok. (At least for us old M-powered folks, I believe)...

My knowledge is not wrong!
It is the Pro Tools 9 (not HD) but I had these plugs before I updated!!

I can assure you. I have had it more than 30 days so it is not a trial and I have used all the plugs before on many occasions! So why did I have them, and why don't I have them now?

I am authorized to use pro tools and there is no issue with that, just these 4 plugs?! Also, after a clean install.. If I shouldn't have had these plugins on my PT9 system, they shouldn't have installed themselves to the plugins folder!

Sorry to use a lot of ! but this is quite serious. This will be losing me money if I don't get it sorted out.. I am 17 and need this for my own living costs...

You are wrong. You need to have authorizations on your iLok for each of those plug-ins.

Did you have cracked versions? Those plug-in did not install with Pro Tools 9. How did they get installed? Did you have a previous version of Pro Tools? What system? What's on your iLok? Did you have a temporary asset (rental) on your iLok for those plug-ins?

I bought Pro Tools 9 legally from a real shop! I'm not scum who steal things and ruin the industry as its one I hope to make a living off!

Anyway, the iLok is brand new (the one with the blue light strip)
I have got the latest drivers off their website and the only license on it is Pro Tools 9. I have never had any trial plugs installed on this iLok and I definately had them plugins on my system before I installed!

I assure you.. :P I can even describe their design appearance for you!! not that you'll need it..

Now for the rest of your questions

1. I bought a physical disk to install
2. I had no previous version, this is full
3. It is a windows based system x64

Ps... thanks for atleast getting back to my post.. this is the 2nd one Ive done.. none on the other post!
