using 002 as a PA mixer for live show
I have a digi 002 system that says it can be used as a standalone mixer for live shows. I have 2 monitors and 2 mains (all 4 ohm) and cannot get clean sound to come out. I have to max the gains on everything and the sound is distorted and not very loud at all. Am I missing something?
Thanks! Jeff |

Re: using 002 as a PA mixer for live show
Hey Jeff,
The 002 doesn't have any power amplifers. So unless your mains/monitors have their own power amps built in (e.g. you could plug them into an electrical outlet), you'll have to buy a power amplifier (a Crown for example). In that case, you'd run line cables from the output jacks of your 002 into the power amplifier. Then run speaker cable (and only speaker cable) from the power amplifier to your mains and monitors. Good luck! |
