Default Please Help Error -9132 when Bouncing Down

I'm working on a project where my CPU meter says I'm at about 60%. However, whenever I mix down I get an error -9132 taht says I'm too low on resources to complete the bounce. I already have my CPU limit set to 85% and my latency is set to the the hiest setting. Any ideas why this might be happening and what I can do to fix the problem. BTW...I'm running Pro Tools 6.1

Please help.

Try increasing the DAE Buffer to level 8, just for bouncing... also increase the playback engine buffer to 1024, again just for bouncing. If you have a large session try splitting the tracks across multiple disks.

I have my DAE buffer level set to 8 and my playback engine buffer is already 1024 and I still get the problem. What confuses me is that my CPU meter on says I at about 60 - 65% usage.

Any additional ideas would be very much apprecaited.

I have been pulling my hair out trying to figure this out as well. Pulling plugins seems to help on most occasions which seems pretty odd when my CPU meter is no where near pegged. Hopefully DIGI resolves this soon.

this is known as the BOUNCE TO DISK BUG.

wait a minute. 9132 is the "bounce handler cannot keep up" error. are you sure it says you're low on resources when you get 9132?

I have to double check but I think the dialog screen actually does say "bounce handler cannot keep up". However the only way I have been able to get this to actually bounce down is by taking out a few of the plug ins. SO IS THIS THE BOUNCE TO DISK BUG AND IF SO IS THERE A FIX FOR IT?

Any help or ideas would be very much appreiated.

this is the bug. Digi did acknowledge that there is a bounce handler issue, and that they are working on it. currently, the only advice they can give is to record your mix onto another audio track by bussing. for me, i use full 32 audio tracks on alot of sessions, so that means bouncing twice (and in real-time both times!), which is just ridiculous.

Just curious...do you know why removing plug ins will allow me to bounce down my mixes without the bounce handler problem. And did digi say when they expect to have a fix for this problem. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Does the 6.1.1 update fix this?

Other than this problem my system is working great.
