Please help me with dumb question

I just got a TC M300 and have it hooked up via SPDIF. Unfortunately, i forget how to set that up in the hardware i/o panel. Right now my master fader is analog out 1/2 and SPDIF out 1/2. How do i take the spdif off of the master fader so that i can use this as an effects send and not get a huge feedback loop?

Any help would be appreciated.

If the problem is that you have selected two pairs of outputs on the master (by holding down cntrl while selecting), you just select a new output pair (without holding down cnrtl, of course).
