PT 6 Track count in LE?

Does anybody know whether PT 6 LE is limited to a track count of 24 or whether that number has been increased?

I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt and say maybe you own a MBOX and don't come on the DUC to often. PTLE 5.3 for 001/002 PC\Mac and the upcoming PT6 for mac all offer 32 track limits. MBOX is the only hardware at the 24 track limit.

oh geez, i thought i could get by without knowing what 'voices' were, except that they were something TDM people had to worry about and i didn't.

My guess is that voices are like the DAW equivilent of keyboard "polyphony". Would that be correct? [img]images/icons/cool.gif[/img]

Finally one can have several automated working versions (with diffetent automation etc) of the tracks.

The 32 track limit is just fine, for me anway, but voices has been the problem.

I saw the PT guy with an MBox and PT6 put 128 tracks in the create new tracks window and the session was created. He told me that only 32 of of the would play at a time but there would be all those voices to deal with. of course this was a beta.
