Delay Comp Confusion
Mixing this song, and I cant understand why a few of the tracks consider themselves beyond the reach of delay compensation...when then delay amount is considerably less than 4095 samples....
Furthermore, I don't understand why the amount of compensation seems to vary so much from track to track ( shouldn't the delay amt minus the cmp amt come out to the same # on all the tracks?) But really the first question is the most bothersome one right now. Any thoughts? THanks |

Re: Delay Comp Confusion
PS
Delay Compensation set to "long" and checkmarked in options menu. I've trashed prefs and rebooted. No change. |

Re: Delay Comp Confusion
oh, AND,
if the values in red DO mean the track is out of compensating range....why is there any number at all in the Cmp field? |

Re: Delay Comp Confusion
ok...oops...i've answered my second question. it's not delay value minus comp value, it's delay value PLUS comp value...and they do ALL equal the same number (3377) except for the tracks whose delay comp numbers are RED
