Default 88k on Mbox Mini?

I have a 88k session to mix on my Mbox Mini, PT10. It's not allowing me to open. Is this a limitation of the Mbox Mini hardware?

If so, is the work around to get someone else to "Save as copy" at 44.1?

Thanks for any tips!

AFAIK, the Mini does not allow for higher than 48K sample rate. Best to create a new session at 48 or 44.1K and them import session data, letting Pro Tools SRC the audio. As to which sample rate to choose; what is the final goal? If its DVD audio, then go to 48K. If its CD audio or some kind of upload, then 44.1 will work(but do work at 24 bit, regardless of sample rate).

If you're worried about loss of quality, remember this; a great mix at 44.1K beats a crap mix at 88.2(or 96, or 192.......)
