Downloaded PT first thinking it would be a good thing to playback simple sessions or bounced sessions on my macbook which were recorded on my PT10 3HD PCie system. Should have looked at the manual first of course: you have to be logged in, you cannot play back sessions from another system, you cannot save stuff on your computer only in the cloud, no more than 3 or $$. Is all this indeed so, or have I misunderstood things.

That's why it is free. It is basically the Pro Tools trial.

The only thing I find disappointing is that I can't use it. I would gladly pay a couple hundred dollars to unlock the plugins THAT I ALREADY OWN. I would even rather have a Pro tools trial, as I can't even evaluate the software without being able to use my plugins.
